What is Cosplay?
It cannot be denied that anime cartoons all are extremely beautiful, handsome and very cute. They are cute even though they are disproportional in their facial and body features. It is most likely that the disproportional imperfection is the reason for why people relate to them and find them extremely cute. Sometimes they even are perfect in proportion and in these cases they often will become something that people look up to and admire. Imitation is the best form of flattery and there are people who love to imitate the anime cartoons. People even go as far as to dress up as an anime cartoon. Cosplay is defined as dressing up as an anime cartoon. It is important to realize that there is a time and place for you to engage in cosplaying; because, if you did it anytime you wanted to people would think you were crazy. In the United States cosplaying generally happens at special cosplaying conventions. In Japan there are people that regularly do that and there are cafes for cosplaying.
Anime characters are usually dressed in the unique and unusual clothing. Sometimes they even wear clothing that is impossible to be made in real life; this kind of clothing is possible for the anime character because the character is just a drawing. This generally poses as an issue for people wishing to engage in cosplay. However, people are generally extremely resourceful and they always seem to figure out how to imitate their chosen characters clothing. They do this sometimes by using different cloths and cardboard to imitate the most unusual costumes. Sometimes cosplayers take a lot of time and effort in their costumes for instance, a costplayer once dressed up as a transformer robot that could transform into a car. That took a lot of time and effort. Naruto and Naruto Shippuden anime characters are popular subjects for cosplayers to dress up as. So is an Akatsuki character because those costumes are easy to make and wear.
Compared to simulating the look, simulating the costumes is easy. To actually look like an anime character takes a lot of hard work, creativity and brains. It is very difficult to dress up as some anime characters. To pull off a look correctly you need to be extremely good-looking and be of Asian descent because Asians seem to always have better features for cosplaying.
To tie it all together you need to have the attitude especially when you're at an anime convention. You also need to balance what's inappropriate and what's appropriate for your character. You do not want to go around scaring people all day long. As you can see cosplaying involves a lot of different components including the clothing, the look and the attitude. By combining all three together in a successful manner you too can become your favorite animated character. This is extremely useful if you are really into anime are attending and anime cosplaying convention. Just remember to use your brains, creativity and common sense in order to turn yourself into a magnificent anime character.
